Idk why everyone talks so much crap about olive garden lol. Ok its not AUTHENTIC Italian cuisine but its good food for a great price. They always have new items to try on the menu. The salad n breadsticks are good and FREE lol. The ambiance is cute and they have plenty of cutesy playful drinks to choose from. The after dinner coffees are all delicious. Overall olive garden is a fun place with yummy food. Its not uppity & its very affordable!

Yeah, it's a chain. There's a formula. Unfortunately, in this case, the formula just isn't very good. The service here is fine, and the bread sticks are good... but that's about it. I've eaten here twice (never my choice either time -- we were meeting friends, and this is where they wanted to eat), and both times, I've been completely underwhelmed by the food quality. Their ads talk about their chefs going to Tuscany to learn Italian cooking... I find it laughable. There's basically no flavor in the food. The marinara sauce? No spice, no herbs, just mild tomato. Alfredo? Might as well be thick milk. If the sauce is made on-site (doubtful), they need to revamp that part of the kitchen. However, if it's trucked in and reheated... fire the prep company. There's no reason to visit here voluntarily. Unless you love breadsticks.

The food is always OK, but boy they need to replace the AC units. It smells like funk in this place!

According to some of their reviews they said this location needed to be remodeled and obviously they have done it! The place is clean and decent just like any other Olive Garden location. Food and service was good as expected.

Ok who does not love Olive Garden. Its a place you can go when you cannot get real Italian. But this location i think has been around for so long as a Chain that its super busy so people are always rushed in and out and you feel rushed. On a good not the Food is good some waitstaff polite. Full bar which helps. Call ahead or sit for some time. When they have there new dishes featured thats when its good to go becasue it is fresh and new and not something they do on rotation for hours on end. Happy Eating

She said..." I have always loved Olive Garden. The service is typically fast and nice. Only this time at this specific location, they tried seating us in one dining room that smelled like a dirty hot moist bathroom which seemed like pee was seeping through the walls. It was very hot, smelly and uncomfortable. We asked to be moved into the bar seating where there was clean and fresh air. Other than that, the food always tastes good and the lemon cream cake is the best." He said..." Walking into one of the dining room we were approached by a hot, moist smell that just smacked you across your face. I have no idea why it smelled like an urine infested baby diaper laying out in the hot sun in there. We did ask to be move to the bar area and everything was fine there. I had the new chicken carbonara and I have to say that the presentation was great and the pasta was delicious. Even as I was getting filled with the pasta, I had to finish it. After unbuttoning my pants the feat was accomplished...The chicken was overcooked, tough and thin. The waiter was great and the lemon cake was scrumptious...I would given it 3 stars though... I do have to disagree with the person below...it's not the McDonalds's of Italian restaurants...that would be Fazolis..."

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal at an Olive Garden restaurant. I stopped in Saturday evening at 5pm with my daughter and her friend, and even though there were a lot of people waiting, we were seated in about 15 minutes. I was a server for several years when I was younger so expect a lot of my servers because I know that personable and attentive service is NOT that hard, yet I still understand that things can go wrong. Well, nothing went wrong that I know of here, we were greeted by a friendly Sarah J and were served our non-alcoholic drinks within minutes and our soup, salad and breadsticks only minutes later. The entrees came out perfectly timed as we got done with our soup, salad and breadsticks. We did not go without a drink refill and even had our to go boxes filled up at the table by Sarah without a wait. The bill was accurate and settled immediately. This was one of the first times since moving to Florida that I have had a meal with absolutely nothing to complain about. Service is usually lacking at most restaurants we go to but this time was a pleasure.

Every time I fly in to the Ft Meyers airport or have to drop someone there, I stop here with my family. It's become a bit of a tradition. I always get the Zuppa Toscana and breadsticks, we always get great service, and everyone's happy. It may be a chain restaurant, but the nice interior, good staff, and great location make a world of difference.

Typical Olive garden chain restaurant food quality. Good for group dinners. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get. They often run specials and have coupons available as well. Definitely not a place where you are going to rave about your meal for the next few days, but decent quality and portions. We will be back.

ZUPPA TOSCANA ... In Fort Myers, Florida That's all you need to know. The Olive Garden all you can eat ... Soup & Salad served with Garlic Bread Sticks Hmmmmmm Did I mention that it is ALL you can eat ? As many bowls of soup and as much salad as you can handle. For the price, ya can't beat it. I don't know why, but I just LOVE that ZUPPA Toscana. Sooo spicy and tasty and sooo good. It is my favorite menu item at the Olive Garden. In second place is the common every day Chicken Caesar Salad. Pricey for a few pieces of chicken mixed with rabbit food. But hey, sometimes a guy just has to watch his waist line, no ? I know, you are wondering why I go to an Italian Restaurant and just eat soup or salad. I've been wondering that myself. But I know one thing, Tony Soprano would not be caught dead in an Olive Garden Italian style restaurant. Ya know what I'm saying...Forgetaboutit.

Its an Olive Garden, I don't know how much I can say except, its an olive garden. Service was decent, food was decent, the decor looked like every other one. I will say parking was not great, the lot was full, had to drive in circles and wait for a spot. One thing I will say, the fiesta cake was amazing!

    (2)
  • Craig D.

The nice thing about eating here is you get unlimited soup, breadsticks and salad before dinner. So when you come in hungry you something to eat while waiting for your entre. The food is good and not overly expensive. Leave room for dessert.

Sometimes you have a craving for soup and salad with breadsticks. My daughters picked this place. Service sometimes is great and sometimes it's slow. It's in a central location. This location seems to always be packed.

Ok, but not great. Place is dirty and not well maintained. Food was average. The server was very distracted and slow. If it wasn't for the fact that is a chain restaurant with pre made food, this would had been a really bad experience.

Had a very good experience.Ordered the Ever Popular, Soup and Salad, comes with soft warm breadsticks. My favorite is the Cream of Chicken Nockie Soup.Trissja Rey, was our server. She was happy to accommodate,My requests for certain things to Not Be put in my Salad. Was attentive to our needs.Their Ladies Restroom was clean. A Big Red Flag.Of How Clean/Dirty a facility is. And how attentive Management is to these important, this is.(Most people think of Local Health Dept. Regulations.) However, there is this VERY IMPORTANT ORGANIZATION. Called OSHA, they address Employee/General Public Safety Regulations. They are VERY STRICT. Why look the other way? When your anonymous info, would also help another Consumer's experience, and health. Reviewing for Yelp.I have found it to be of Great Value. At this particular Olive Garden Location, our dinning experience was Very Good, food served at the right temp. The Mgr stopped by, and asked,"if everything was to our satisfaction." It's welcomed professional Professional Etiquette. Happens to reflect very well, on the Restaurant, etc. We will definitely, come back, of course you will get another Yelper Review. Highly Probable. Dinner hour. To check out the difference, between the lunch/Dinner. Staff Rotation.

Just had a going away party here for a co worker. We had three different servers and not one had a clearly defined role. We were all served at different intervals. My second drink was never served and they forgot my main dish even though we all ordered at the same time. I ordered cavatelli and was served angel hair pasta. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the one beverage I had tasted pretty good, everyone one else enjoyed their meals, and they comped my "cavatelli". Pine Island Rd. location is much better! SO disappointed.

Service wasn't great. Bread was cold. Salad was old, Italy Tour seemed like they rushed it and piled onto plate. Thus, food quality was worst than other Olive Garden restaurants I've been to.

Our first visit to Olive Garden was a huge hit. I wish I had servers name . He was totally amazing and helped us make some great choices. Salad was so fresh and delicious, along with the fresh warm garlic rolls.OMG yum.. We could have filled up on salad and bread ha. And then comes the entree. So delicious! I highly recommend you try out this restaurant.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
